BROACH, Rosa Plunkett

Ladoga, June 1 – Mrs. Rosa Belle Broach, 70 years old, well known resident of Ladoga passed away at 6:30 ‘clock Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where she had been treated since May 24 for heart disease. Mrs. Broach was born in Boone County Sept 21, 1867 the daughter of Allen and Rebecca Plunkett.  In 1854 she was unite din marriage with Marion Campbell who passed away June 26, 1913. Five years later she was wed to Jacob Broach whose death occurred Nov 17, 1924. She was a member of Memorial Chapel. Surviving are: three daughters, Olive Broach of North Salem, Mary Brann of Ladog and Pearl Shafer of Duluth, Minn, two sons, Claude Campbell of Ladoga and Carl Campbell of Chicago, a brother, Andy Plunkett, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and daughter. The body was taken to Gottschall Funeral Home and arrangements for the service will be announced later. - thanks to Kim H
